Design Tips

Anyone can make apps. But can you make a great app? Follow these tips to create the best app possible:

Spellcheck your submission
Always remember to check the spelling. Bad spelling or all caps equals a bad app.

Create a useful app
Avoid making apps for your own personal use. Instead, consider creating an application that your friends and others would consider useful. For example, maybe a trivia game about the World Cup.

Don't use copyrighted content!
If you don't own or have explicit permission to use the content you would like to use in your app, avoid using it. For example, pictures taken from the web need explicit permission from their author.

More content means a better app
Don't stop at 10 or 15 questions if you're making a trivia game. Add as many questions as you can think up. The more content you can put in your app the better it will be. Can you reach a goal of 50 questions? Once again, remember the previous tip and do not use content you don't own or have explicit permission to use.

Be original
If everyone else is doing one thing, try mixing it up and doing something else. For example, if you see there are plenty of famous person quote apps but not enough birthday quote apps, fill a need and be different. If there's an open niche, take it.

Builder Steps

Familiarize yourself with the following steps included in our builder technology. In addition, read the Design Tips section to prepare yourself for making an outstanding application.

1. Create your application
First, you must choose a type of Android app to create. Next, add your content like text and pictures. You can also choose your app title, icon, background graphics and more.

3. Finish your app submission
We offer a free builder which is supported by ads placed in the app and a paid ad-free builder. Choose one of the two options.

4. Quality Review
Lastly, our team of editors will review your app's content to ensure it's quality. We reserve the right to reject submissions that don't follow the design tips listed above.

5. App Store Submission
After review, our application builders will create your app and submit it to the App Store so you and your friends can download it for free.
